PM Modi to Tour Manipur and Four Other States from September 13–15, to Inaugurate Projects Valued at ₹71,850 Crore

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit five states—Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar—from September 13 to 15 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of projects worth ₹71,850 crore, the Prime Minister’s Office announced on Friday.

On September 13, PM Modi will begin his visit in Mizoram, laying the foundation stone and inaugurating multiple development projects worth over ₹9,000 crore in Aizawl at around 10 AM. These projects will cover sectors including Railways, Roadways, Energy, and Sports. He will also flag off three express trains: the Sairang-Delhi Rajdhani Express, Sairang-Guwahati Express, and Sairang-Kolkata Express, providing direct connectivity between Mizoram and major cities. Key infrastructure projects such as the Aizawl Bypass Road, Thenzawl-Sialsuk Road, Khankawn-Rongura Road, Chhimtuipui River Bridge, Khelo India Multipurpose Indoor Hall, and a 30 TMTPA LPG Bottling Plant at Mualkhang will also be inaugurated.

Later, in Manipur, he will lay the foundation for development projects worth over ₹7,300 crore at Churachandpur around 12:30 PM, including urban roads, drainage and asset management, five National Highway projects, the Manipur Infotech Development (MIND) project, and Working Women Hostels at nine locations. At 2:30 PM, he will inaugurate projects worth over ₹1,200 crore in Imphal and address a public gathering.

The Prime Minister will then visit Assam to participate in the 100th birth anniversary celebrations of Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika in Guwahati at 5 PM.

On September 14, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for major infrastructure and industrial projects worth over ₹18,530 crore across Assam. At Darrang, he will lay the foundation for several projects at 11 AM. Later, in Golaghat, he will inaugurate the Assam Bioethanol Plant at Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) and lay the foundation stone for a Polypropylene Plant, boosting clean energy and the petrochemical sector.

On September 15, PM Modi will visit West Bengal to inaugurate the 16th Combined Commanders’ Conference-2025 in Kolkata at 9:30 AM. He will then travel to Bihar, inaugurating the new terminal building of Purnea Airport at 2:45 PM, and laying the foundation stone for development projects worth around ₹36,000 crore at Purnea. During the visit, he will also launch the National Makhana Board, which aims to promote production, technology development, value addition, and marketing of Makhana, benefiting farmers in Bihar and across India.
