Sahibganj/Jamtara/: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday slammed the JMM-led coalition government in Jharkhand and claimed that under its patronage, pockets of the eastern state have turned into hubs of illegal activities by Rohingyas and Bangladesh infiltrators.

Addressing multiple poll rallies in Jharkhand, Adityanath asserted that these infiltrators will be driven out of the state after November 23, when the assembly election results will be announced.

“Areas like Rajmahal and Sahibganj have become centres for illegal activities by Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingyas. The JMM-led coalition leaders, who are their ‘rahnuma’ (protectors), will not be spared. Infiltrators will be expelled as soon as the NDA government is formed in Jharkhand. Leaders of the aliance, who looted funds meant for the people, will be held accountable,” he said.

Adityanath, during a rally at Rajmahal in Sahibganj, urged people to be wary of politicians who divide society along caste lines, calling them the “enemies of society and the country”.

The Uttar Pradesh CM also criticised the JMM-RJD-Congress alliance for undermining the vision of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who dreamed of a prosperous Jharkhand.

Despite the state’s rich natural resources, the people continue to remain poor, he said, adding that under an NDA government, at least 1.5 lakh youths would be provided jobs.

Referring to India’s historical divisions, Adityanath said, “When Hindus were divided, they faced slavery and humiliation in Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura. Now, it’s time for ‘ek rahenge, safe rahenge; na batenge, na katenge’ (Safe when united; we will not be wiped out if united).”

He also asserted that trends indicate that the NDA would form government in Jharkhand with over a two-thirds majority.

Addressing another rally at Nala in Jamtara, he accused the coalition of “indulging in dacoity” by looting natural resources and central funds.

“The JMM-led coalition has encouraged infiltration by Bangladeshi migrants and Rohingyas, posing a serious threat to ‘beti, mati, roti’ (daughter, land and bread). Now, the bulldozer is on standby to reclaim the looted funds,” the BJP leader said.

Adityanath also alleged that illegal mining, including rampant extraction of sand, coal and forest resources, was flourishing under the “protection of the ruling coalition”, leaving Jharkhand hollowed out by mafia activities.

He accused the Jharkhand government of providing support to infiltrators involved in ‘land jihad’ and ‘love jihad’, warning that such forces would not be spared if the NDA comes to power.

The Uttar Pradesh CM also flayed the JMM-led alliance for “obstructing” the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. “Now, they are playing with the lives of people in Jharkhand through divisive politics,” he said.

Adityanath claimed that at least 10 lakh Hindus were massacred during Partition in 1947 because Hindus were divided and urged them to be united to be safe.

“After the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, it’s time for the Krishna Kanhaiya Temple in Mathura,” he said.

At the Deoghar rally, Adityanath promised to bring “security, prosperity and good governance” in the state through a new model of governance for which BJP’s “Hindutva principle-based double engine governments are known”.

“The JMM-led grouping will not only divide you on the basis of caste, but indulge in appeasement politics, too, to loot all your resources,” he alleged.

“We promise to return the funds looted by the coalition government leaders to the people of Jharkhand… I urge you to vote for the BJP for stability and development,” he added.
