Srinagar: On Tuesday, police reported the arrest of two terrorist associates in the Mulsoo Seer area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A senior police officer stated that the arrests were made during a joint operation involving the Anantnag Police, Army’s 33RR, and CRPF 96 BN at a Naka checking point in Mulsoo Seer, Anantnag.
During the searches, the security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from the suspects, including a pistol, eight pistol rounds, a hand grenade, and 120 AK-47 rounds.
The officer added that an investigation into the matter has been initiated.
