Power Mech Projects Secures ₹2,500 Crore Order from BHEL

New Delhi: Infrastructure major Power Mech Projects on Thursday announced that it has secured a ₹2,500 crore order from state-run engineering firm Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).

The contract involves executing the Balance of Plant (BoP) package on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis for the 1×800 MW Singareni Thermal Power Plant, the company said in a statement.

“This project will further strengthen our robust order book and reinforce Power Mech’s core expertise in EPC, aligning with our strategic growth vision,” said Sajja Kishore Babu, Chairman and Managing Director of the company.

The scope of work covers coal and biomass handling systems, ash handling systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, and fire protection systems, along with associated civil and structural works, the company added.
