London: Actor Preity Zinta and her husband Gene Goodenough were among the celebrities who attended the Wimbledon men’s final in London on Sunday.
Zinta shared glimpses of the thrilling day on Instagram, posting several photos from the prestigious event. In the first picture, she is seen posing with Gene, dressed in a chic polka-dot dress while he wore a blue outfit. A video also showed her cooling off with a hand fan in the summer heat.
Captioning the post, she wrote, “What a fun weekend this has been with my hubby—my Pati Parmeshwar—and my favourite girls watching an unbelievable game of tennis! Actor Farhan Akhtar also gave fans a peek into his Wimbledon outing with his father, veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, and wife Shibani Dandekar. Sharing a series of photos, he wrote, “What a beautiful weekend at @wimbledon with dad & Shibani. This event is always special—one of the finest sporting experiences. Honestly, I was rooting for Alcaraz to make it three in a row, but today belonged to Sinner. He played incredibly well and deserved the win.”
