New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday extended her greetings to all air warriors, veterans, and their families on the occasion of Air Force Day, lauding the Indian Air Force (IAF) for making the nation proud with its strength and unwavering readiness to face every challenge.
In a message posted on X, the President praised the IAF personnel for their courage, commitment, and excellence, highlighting their tireless service in protecting the nation’s skies and providing aid during disasters and humanitarian missions.
“Warm greetings to all air warriors, veterans, and their families on Air Force Day! The Indian Air Force has always demonstrated courage, commitment, and excellence. Our air warriors protect our skies and serve the nation with tireless dedication during disasters and humanitarian missions,” she said.
President Murmu further added that the Air Force has consistently brought pride to the nation through its preparedness and strength, extending her best wishes for its continued success in the future.
Air Force Day is celebrated on October 8 every year to commemorate the establishment of the Indian Air Force and to honour the sacrifices and service of its personnel.
