KISHTWAR: Acting on the directions of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Principal Secretary Home, Chandraker Bharti, today visited Chashoti village in Kishtwar to review ongoing rescue and relief operations following the recent devastating cloudburst.

He was accompanied by DIG Shridhar Patil, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma, SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh, CEO Emergency Relief Organisation (ERO) Dr. Amir Hussain, ACR Kishtwar Idrees Lone, and other senior officials.

During the visit, the Principal Secretary conducted a thorough assessment of the ground situation, interacted with local residents, and held detailed discussions with rescue teams and civil administration officials. He also reviewed the immediate needs of affected families to ensure prompt delivery of relief and rehabilitation measures.

Emphasizing the urgency of the situation, he called for a swift, coordinated, and sustained response from all relevant departments and agencies to enhance rescue operations and expedite relief and rehabilitation efforts.
