London [UK]: It’s official – actors Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar are reuniting on screen after 17 long years! The duo, known for their iconic collaborations in films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Yeh Dillagi, and Aarzoo, will share screen space once again in Priyadarshan’s upcoming film Haiwaan.
On Tuesday, director Priyadarshan took to Instagram to share a candid photo of the two actors at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Alongside the picture, he wrote, “Haiwaan, my next film with @akshaykumar and Saif Ali Khan at Lords.”
The announcement has sparked a wave of excitement among fans. One user commented, “Another blockbuster in the making!”, while another playfully wrote, “Main Khiladi Tu Haiwaan.”
The film is expected to go on floors in August, with a grand release planned for 2026. Saif and Akshay were last seen together in the 2008 film Tashan, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, which also featured Kareena Kapoor Khan in a key role.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is also teaming up with Priyadarshan for another project titled Bhooth Bangla. Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, along with Akshay’s own Cape of Good Films, the horror-comedy is slated for a theatrical release on April 2, 2026.
