Mumbai: After enjoying the festive season with her family, global star Priyanka Chopra is back to work. The Desi Girl has flown to Hyderabad for her much-anticipated project with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Priyanka shared a short video capturing the vibrant streets of Hyderabad and tagged Mahesh Babu in the clip. Earlier, she had posted a photo from her flight with the caption, “And we’re off again… destination exciting (sic)”, followed by a video of her plane landing at the airport.
Meanwhile, in celebration of Mahesh Babu’s birthday on August 9, director SS Rajamouli announced that the team of SSMB29 is preparing a special reveal to showcase the film’s “essence, depth, and immersive world,” set to be unveiled in November 2025.
Rajamouli wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Dear cinema lovers in India and around the world, as well as fans of Mahesh, it has been a while since we began shooting, and we appreciate your eagerness to know about the film. However, the story and scope are so vast that mere pictures or press conferences cannot do it justice. We are working on something never-before-seen to bring you into the world we’re creating.”
Since its announcement, SSMB29 has been one of the most talked-about projects in Indian cinema. Reports suggest that Mahesh Babu will perform all his stunts without using a body double.
The film also marks the first-ever on-screen collaboration between Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu.
