Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra, who is gearing up for her grand debut in Telugu cinema with SS Rajamouli’s Globetrotter, recently shared a glimpse of her Hyderabad shooting experience—revealing that her daughter Malti Marie also accompanied her on set.
During an “AskPCJ” session on X, Priyanka interacted with fans and answered several questions about her working style and time in India. When a fan asked if she brought her family to Rajamouli’s film set, the actor revealed that Malti not only visited but also spent time with Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter Sitara.
“My daughter has been to the set in Hyderabad and she had the best time with @urstrulyMahesh and Namrata’s beautiful daughter Sitara, and went to @ssrajamouli’s farm and met a calf. Her favourite memory @ssk1122,” Priyanka wrote.
She also expressed her fondness for Hyderabadi biryani and opened up about learning Telugu for the film. “It’s obviously not my first language but @ssrajamouli sir has been so helpful. I will be able to deliver my Telugu lines and live up to your expectations,” she added.
The interaction came shortly after the makers unveiled Priyanka’s first look as the fierce and enigmatic Mandakini from Globetrotter. “She’s more than what meets the eye… Say hello to Mandakini. #GlobeTrotter,” she captioned the post.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The makers are set to host a special “Globetrotter event” to reveal the first look at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on November 15.
