RAJOURI,: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa today chaired a meeting of the Rural Development Department (RDD) sector to assess the progress of ongoing developmental works in the district.
The meeting, held in the office chamber of the ADDC, was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Vijay Kumar, Executive Engineer REW Zahir Khan, Technical Officer Nand Kishore, while Block Development Officers (BDOs) participated through virtual mode.
During the meeting, a detailed block-wise review was conducted, wherein it was informed that out of 4,249 sanctioned works, 2,227 have been completed. The ADDC directed officers to expedite the pace of work to ensure all targets are achieved before the conclusion of the financial year.
Taking note of the pending and non-started works, Dr. Thapa instructed officers to identify and resolve any bottlenecks hindering progress. He further emphasized strict adherence to quality standards while executing developmental projects, ensuring durable and sustainable infrastructure for rural communities.
Reiterating the administration’s commitment to rural development, the ADDC urged officers to maintain efficiency and accountability, ensuring timely completion of all works for the benefit of the public.
