Jammu, Nov 24: Senior political leader Qayoom Wani on Monday called on all political parties and leaders to stop indulging in point-scoring and focus on addressing core issues that affect the public. He said that citizens are primarily concerned with governance, development, and delivery of essential services, rather than political rhetoric.

Wani emphasised that the government and opposition alike should prioritise health, education, infrastructure, and employment generation. He added that constructive debate and collaborative solutions would serve the people better than partisan politics.

He urged political stakeholders to rise above short-term gains and work in the interest of the common citizen, highlighting that transparent, people-centric policies are the key to building trust and strengthening democracy.
