The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Tuesday carried out coordinated raids at multiple locations in connection with an ongoing investigation into a separate terror conspiracy case. Officials said the searches were conducted to gather evidence related to individuals suspected of facilitating the activities of terrorist groups through logistical support, communication channels, or financial networks.
During the raids, digital devices, documents, and other materials relevant to the probe were seized for forensic analysis. The CIK team, accompanied by local police, ensured that all operations were conducted smoothly and without disturbance to the public.
Officials stated that the raids are part of a wider effort to dismantle networks aiding terrorism in the region. They emphasized that the investigation is progressing and further action will follow based on the findings.
The CIK reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining security and urged the public to cooperate with authorities and report any suspicious activities.
