Jodhpur: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said Indian forces delivered a strong and precise response to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.

“Our soldiers did not target terrorists for their religion but for their actions,” Singh said while addressing a programme in Jodhpur. “In Operation Sindoor, our forces responded firmly, and every target chosen was hit with precision.”

He stressed that India believes in the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family—and does not discriminate on the basis of caste or religion, unlike terrorists who killed people after identifying their faith.

Launched in May, Operation Sindoor involved precision strikes on multiple terror-linked sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The mission aimed to destroy terror infrastructure and eliminate key operatives following the April 22 Pahalgam attack.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on education, Singh said the sector has undergone significant transformation. “The change we see in education today compared to the past is India’s true strength. This is the real change, and it represents the future of India,” he added.
