RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 26: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, the District Administration Rajouri organised a Public Grievances Redressal and Service Delivery Camp at Tourism Park near the historic Chingus Fort.
The camp was presided over by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Malikzada Sheraz ul Haq, who interacted with the local public, heard their issues, and instructed concerned officers for prompt redressal.
Residents from Chingus and adjoining areas projected various grievances and developmental demands, such as the establishment of a Police Post, construction of a canal in Sangpur, action against illegal mining, restoration of the Water Supply Scheme at Sangpur, upgradation of the Chingus–Makolgala road, construction of sanitary complexes at Dhanwan, completion of the Dugani–Chakli road, provision of an outdoor gym, upgradation of Middle School Pind Narian, establishment of a Trauma Hospital, ATM services, rationalisation of staff in government schools, blacktopping of the Narian–Dugani road, and provision of electric poles.
ADDC Malikzada Sheraz ul Haq issued on-the-spot directions to the officers of the respective departments for early resolution of the issues raised. He emphasised the need for improving service delivery and assured that all genuine grievances would be addressed within a fixed timeline.
District and sectoral officers from various departments attended the camp, responded to public queries, and sensitised residents about different government schemes and welfare programmes.
The camp saw active public participation, reaffirming the commitment of the District Administration under Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma to deliver governance at the doorstep of citizens. All district and sectoral officers were present during the Public Grievance Redressal Camp.
