RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, visited the residence of U-14 Gold Medalist Boxer Mohd Yasser to personally congratulate his family on the young athlete’s outstanding achievement.
Interacting with Yasser’s mother, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the family’s efforts in nurturing his sporting talent and assured them of the District Administration’s full support in helping Yasser pursue his dreams and excel in boxing.
In a major step to encourage young talent, the District Administration Rajouri has sanctioned sponsorship under Mission Vatsalya for both Mohd Yasser and his sister, Fatima. The scheme provides financial assistance and care to children under the orphan category, enabling them to continue their education, sports, and other aspirations.
