RAJOURI NOVEMBER 24: During routine patrolling in the Dharali area, a police party from Police Station Rajouri intercepted a suspicious person near Dharali Bridge who attempted to hide upon noticing the police.
The individual identified himself as Talib Hussain, S/O Shabir Hussain, R/O Dhanidhar, Rajouri. During a personal search, the police recovered a polythene bag containing 100 Pregabalin capsules and 03 Tramadol Hydrochloride injections, both classified as narcotic/psychotropic substances.
An FIR (No. 568/2025) under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri. The accused has been arrested, and further investigation is ongoing.
Police are thoroughly probing the forward and backward linkages of the accused to identify his associates and trace the source and destination of the recovered contraband.
