Jammu: Police on Tuesday rescued a family of 11 trapped by a landslide in a remote hamlet of Ramban district.
The incident occurred in Hara village of Gool tehsil, where authorities responded promptly to a distress call. Among those rescued were women and children, all of whom have been safely relocated to a secure area, officials said.
The rescue operation was carried out by a team from Police Station Gool, led by a probationary sub-inspector.
