New Delhi: Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film The Girlfriend is slated for a theatrical release on November 7, 2025.
Written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, known for hits like Chi La Sow and Manmadhudu 2, the film is presented by veteran producer Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts and jointly produced by Mass Movie Makers and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment.
The Girlfriend will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Mandanna shared the news on her Instagram on Saturday, posting the film’s trailer along with the release date. She captioned the post:
“I know you guys have been waiting on this one, and here it isss. #TheGirlfriend in theatres from November 7th, 2025. In Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. #TheGirlfriendOnNov7th #WhoIsYourType”
Apart from The Girlfriend, Mandanna has a busy slate of projects, including the horror-comedy Thamma and Cocktail 2.
In Thamma, produced by Maddock Films, she stars opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar (Munjya), the film is set to release in theatres on October 21 and also features Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles.
Mandanna is also shooting for Cocktail 2 alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Directed by Homi Adajania and produced under Maddock Films, the film began production in August and is penned by Luv Ranjan.
