NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police has issued a citywide alert across all police stations, outposts, and border checkpoints to trace a red Ford EcoSport suspected to be linked to the Red Fort blast case, sources said on Wednesday.
The alert followed revelations during the investigation that some of the suspects already associated with the Hyundai i20 used in the explosion were also in possession of another red-coloured car, a police source said.
At least five Delhi Police teams have been deployed to track down the vehicle, while neighbouring Uttar Pradesh and Haryana Police have also been alerted to remain on high alert and assist in the search operation.
