NEW DELHI: Reliance Power reported a net profit of ₹87 crore for the quarter ended September 30, marking a turnaround from a loss of ₹352 crore in the same period last year, driven by higher revenues.

“The company recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹87 crore (USD 10 million) in Q2FY26, against a loss of ₹352 crore (USD 41 million) in Q2FY25,” Reliance Power said.

The company’s board also approved a proposal to seek shareholders’ approval for raising up to USD 600 million through the issuance of foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) to support growth plans.

Reliance Power Limited, part of the Reliance Group, operates a total portfolio of 5,305 megawatts, including 3,960 megawatts from its flagship Sasan Power project.
