Poonch: Five Army personnel were injured when the Tavera vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident in the Ghani area of Sector Mankote, Poonch district, on Wednesday morning.
Sources said the vehicle, bearing registration number JK02 AW 1387, was traveling from Dhara Dullian to Jammu when it skidded off the road around 7:15 am.
The injured soldiers, posted at Balnoi Nangi Takeri, were on their way home on leave when the accident occurred. A replacement vehicle was arranged to continue their journey.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings.
