Rotary Club Rajouri Distributes School Bags to Govt School Students

Rajouri — In a heartfelt effort to support young learners, the Rotary Club Rajouri carried out a major distribution drive, providing 300 school bags along with stationery kits to students of Government Schools in the district. The initiative brought smiles to hundreds of children, many of whom received brand-new school supplies for the first time this year.

A total of 190 bags were distributed at Govt High School Jawahar Nagar, while the remaining bags were provided to students of two Government Primary Schools, ensuring that children at multiple levels benefitted from the outreach.

The distribution was led by Club President Rtn Vishal Gupta and Club Secretary Rtn Atul Sharma, with active participation from Charter President Rtn K. K. Langer, Rtn Sudesh Sharma, Ashish Langer, Rtn Dr Shahid Anjum, Rtn Rashid Khan, Rtn Ajaz Dar, Rtn Abhishek Langer, Rtn Zabaid Hussain,Rtn Sandeep Gupta,Dev Raj, Rtn Shafait and Rtn Anmol Bhargav.

Club members said the drive reflects Rotary’s ongoing commitment to promoting education and supporting underprivileged students. Teachers appreciated the gesture, noting that such initiatives boost student morale and encourage regular school attendance.

The Rotary Club Rajouri reaffirmed that it will continue taking up similar community-oriented projects in the future.
