Nagrota: Sainik School Nagrota concluded its 49th Annual Athletic Meet with a grand Closing Ceremony at Maj Somnath Sharma PVC Mini Stadium on October 10, 2025. The event was graced by Colonel Kuldeep Kachru, Commanding Officer, 4 J&K Battalion NCC, who attended as the Chief Guest. He felicitated the winners and lauded the cadets for their sportsmanship, discipline, and competitive spirit.
Throughout the meet, cadets demonstrated exceptional endurance, skill, and determination across various track and field events, underscoring the school’s dedication to fostering physical fitness, resilience, and leadership among its students.
In the overall standings, Chenab House, Sindh House, and Jhelum House clinched the top three positions in the Senior Category, while in the Junior Category, Chenab, Jhelum, and Sindh secured first, second, and third places respectively.

In his address, Col Kuldeep Kachru congratulated all participants and highlighted the vital role of sports in developing character, teamwork, and leadership — qualities essential for future officers of the Armed Forces.
