SRINAGAR: Minister for Health, Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in Reasi and Ramban districts following natural calamities.
She said it was heartbreaking that several precious lives were lost in the Ramban cloudburst and the Reasi landslide, adding that these tragedies have caused immense suffering to the affected families. She extended her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and their relatives.
The Minister informed that district administrations, particularly the health and disaster management departments, have been mobilised to provide immediate relief.
Appealing to the public, she urged people to remain cautious amid adverse weather advisories, avoid landslide-prone areas, and strictly follow safety guidelines for their own well-being.
