Mumbai: Superstar Salman Khan on Monday paid a visit to Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar’s residence for Ganpati Darshan. The actor, seen barefoot, humbly sought blessings from Lord Ganesha.
Known for his enthusiastic Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations every year, Salman once again joined the festivities with joy. Dressed in a checkered shirt and blue trousers, he offered prayers with folded hands, surrounded by tight security, bodyguards, and a convoy of cars.
Just last week, Salman and his family bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with traditional music, dhols, and heartfelt rituals. The actor even shared a video on Instagram capturing the family’s emotional immersion ceremony, where each member carried Bappa before visarjan.
Ganesh Chaturthi, a major ten-day festival, begins on the fourth day of the Hindu lunisolar month of Bhadrapada and concludes on Anant Chaturdashi.
On the professional front, Salman was last seen in AR Murugadoss’ action drama Sikandar, alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He will next be seen in Battle of Galwan, portraying an Indian Army soldier in a story inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clashes.
Meanwhile, he continues to charm audiences as the host of Bigg Boss 19, which this season revolves around the theme “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar.”
