Samsung One UI 8 Update Rolling Out for Galaxy Devices
Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 8 update for its Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, with more devices expected to receive it soon. The company has also confirmed the rollout for the Galaxy S23 series, though Indian users are yet to get the update.
After last year’s delays with One UI 7 and Android 15, Samsung is moving faster this time. The One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, is already hitting older devices sooner than expected. Galaxy S23 users in South Korea are among the first to receive it, according to tipster Tarun Vats.
Devices Receiving One UI 8 (Android 16) Include:
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy S24 series
- Galaxy S25 series
- Galaxy Z Fold 6
Samsung has confirmed that additional Galaxy devices and foldables will get the One UI 8 update by the end of 2025. Indian users can expect the stable release soon.

- Go to Settings
- Scroll down to Software update
- Tap Check for updates
- Install the update and reboot your phone

While the overall UI overhaul is minimal compared to One UI 7, One UI 8 introduces significant improvements:
