Samsung One UI 8 Update Rolls Out for Galaxy Devices
Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, with more devices set to receive it soon. The stable Android 16 update is now reaching older Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, although the release for Indian users has not been confirmed yet.
Following the delays of the One UI 7 rollout in 2024, which forced many users to wait until mid-2025 for the Android 15 update, Samsung is moving much faster this year. South Korean Galaxy S23 users are among the first to receive the new One UI 8 update, as reported by tipster Tarun Vats.

- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
The update has already been released for the Galaxy S25 series, as well as the S24 models. Samsung plans to extend One UI 8 to other Galaxy smartphones and foldables by the end of 2025. Indian users are still awaiting the stable rollout.

Galaxy S23 users can install the update by following these steps:

What’s New in One UI 8
The update brings a wide range of features, though the overall UI design changes are minimal compared to One UI 7. Key highlights include:
- Gemini AI Integration: Enhanced multimodal AI for faster, on-device responses and improved built-in AI tools.
- Security Enhancements: Upgraded privacy tools and Knox security ensure your data remains protected, even against major hacking threats.
One UI 8 combines AI-powered functionality with stronger security, promising a smoother and safer experience for Galaxy users.
