Samsung began testing One UI 8 through a beta program a few weeks ago, prioritizing its newest models before gradually rolling it out to mid-range A series devices. The update is also preloaded on the new Watch 8 series and is compatible with the latest Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models.

Key improvements include real-time AI interactions, both visual and text-based, with faster responses thanks to on-device processing in certain cases. The update also introduces additional built-in AI tools for enhanced user experience.

Security has been strengthened with improved privacy tools, ensuring devices remain protected against major hacking threats. Samsung’s Knox security measures continue to safeguard sensitive data on devices running One UI 8.
