Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt recently embarked on a spiritual visit to Ujjain, seeking blessings at the revered Mahakaleshwar Temple.
Inside the temple, visuals captured the actor participating in puja rituals, deeply immersed in devotion alongside fellow devotees. Dressed in simple ethnic attire, he took his place at the front during the ongoing Navratri celebrations.
Sanjay also witnessed the famous Bhasm Aarti, arriving at the temple in the early morning hours amid tight security and temple officials’ guidance. The Mahakaleshwar Temple, located on the banks of the Shipra River, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, making it a site of immense religious significance.
The Bhasm Aarti, held during the auspicious Brahma Muhurta between 3:30 and 5:30 AM, is among the temple’s most revered rituals. According to tradition, it begins with the opening of Baba Mahakal’s doors, followed by a sacred bath using Panchamrit—a mixture of milk, curd, ghee, sugar, and honey.
On the work front, Sanjay Dutt was recently seen in ‘Baaghi 4’ alongside Tiger Shroff and Harnaaz Sandhu. The film opened to a decent response, collecting ₹13.20 crore on its first day. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared on X:
