Pays obeisance at Baba Mai Mal Devsthan Dori Dager, prayed for J&K’s peace, prosperity
JAMMU: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma, today visited various parts of Chamb constituency and had review of public welfare and development programmes being executed there.
Addressing a mammoth gathering at Dori Dager, Tehsil Kharaballi, during his maiden visit to his home constituency, the Minister said that the recently formed government is committed towards fulfilling the developmental aspirations of people, while taking due care of their basic requirements.
“The present dispensation is according focused attention on ensuring holistic and equitable development of all regions of J&K irrespective of caste, creed and colour. We firmly believe that the Omar led government will herald a new era of development, growth and prosperity in the Union Territory”, maintained the Minster while appreciating the Chief Minister’s visionary leadership.
The Minister emphasised the need for initiating enhanced efforts towards ensuring that all the rural and border areas of the UT are brought under the ambit of various government schemes meant for their development. He stressed that the top leadership is keen to work for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir and sought cooperation of all stakeholders in is regard.
Satish Sharma, while appreciating the public for their firm support in programmes and policies of present government, said that he will work with utmost dedication and vigour to bring enhanced development and prosperity in the region.
The Minister emphasized that employment to educated youth is one of the top priorities of the present regime and the government will leave no stone unturned to fulfil the aspirations of the people making their lives easy and better.
Earlier, the Minister paid obeisance at Baba Mai Mal Devsthan in Panchayat Dori Dager and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the region.
