NEW DELHI: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Wednesday announced a major recruitment drive to fill 5,583 vacancies for the position of Junior Associates (Customer Service & Support) across the country.
According to a statement from the bank, online applications will be accepted from August 6 to August 26, 2025.
This recruitment push for the financial year 2025-26 follows SBI’s earlier hiring of 505 Probationary Officers and 13,455 Junior Associates, reflecting the bank’s continued commitment to enhancing its workforce and service capabilities nationwide.
The openings span SBI’s extensive branch and office network, providing aspiring candidates an opportunity to launch their careers with one of India’s largest and most dynamic banking institutions.
SBI Chairman CS Setty emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating that onboarding fresh talent is key to the bank’s efforts to bolster its human capital. He highlighted SBI’s focus on structured skill development programs tailored to meet the evolving demands of banking technology and operations.
With a workforce exceeding 2.36 lakh employees, SBI said the latest recruitment drive underscores its dedication to nurturing future banking professionals and advancing financial inclusion and progress across the nation.
