NEW DELHI, Nov 21: The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Union Government and the Bar Council of India (BCI) on a petition concerning complaints under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act filed by women lawyers.

The plea highlights concerns over alleged instances of sexual harassment within legal workplaces and seeks guidelines to ensure effective redressal of complaints by women practicing law. The petition emphasizes the need for a safe and equitable work environment for all women in the legal profession.
