Los Angeles: A 16-year-old student carried out a shooting at Evergreen High School in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains on Wednesday, killing himself and injuring two classmates.

According to Jacki Kelley, spokesperson for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the teenager shot two students with a handgun before turning the weapon on himself.

One of the injured students is in critical condition, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are investigating the shooter’s home, locker, and social media activity, though no motive has been confirmed.
