Srinagar: Authorities in Kashmir on Friday announced revised school timings for all government, government-aided, and recognised private institutions across the valley, effective from November 1.
As per an order issued by the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, schools within the Srinagar municipal limits will now function from 10 am to 3 pm starting Saturday.
For schools situated outside the Srinagar municipal limits, the new timing will be 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, the order stated.
Earlier, schools within the city operated from 9 am to 3 pm, while those outside followed the 10 am to 4 pm schedule.
