Second Randomisation of Polling Staff Conducted in Budgam for Bye-Elections to the 27-Budgam Assembly Constituency

Budgam: The second randomisation of polling staff for deployment across 173 polling stations in connection with the upcoming bye-elections to the 27-Assembly Constituency Budgam was conducted today at Budgam.

The process was held under the supervision of District Election Officer (DEO) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, and in the presence of General Observer, Bhor Singh Yadav.

As per the Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines, the randomisation was carried out through the Election Management System to ensure transparency and impartiality. A total of 1,020 employees, including a 50% reserve, were randomly assigned to various polling stations for the bye-elections.

The exercise marks a key step in the preparations to ensure the elections are conducted in a free, fair, and smooth manner.

Returning Officer for 27-AC Budgam, Afroza Bano; Deputy DEO, Hilal Ahmad; Nodal Officer ETBPS, Majid Hussain; and other officers were also present during the process.

Officials informed that all necessary arrangements and requirements are being completed in accordance with ECI guidelines to ensure a peaceful and transparent bye-election in the constituency.
