Seven Vehicles Seized During Checking Drive in Jhajjar Kotli

Jammu, 11 December 2025: Jammu (Rural) Police achieved a significant success after a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Vikas Dogra, established a special naka in the area.

During the checking drive, police seized seven vehicles for violating provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. The vehicles had been brought from outside the Union Territory but had not undergone the mandatory transfer of ownership to their current users, prompting action by the Jhajjar Kotli Police.

The seized vehicles include:

1. DL10CT6494 – Mahindra TUV
2. HR40F9281 – Maruti Alto
3. HR98H7856 – Tata Nexon
4. RJ23TA3220 – Chevrolet Tavera
5. PB01A3607 – Chevrolet Tavera
6. PB06AV7825 – Mahindra Xylo
7. HR68C3878 – Tata Truck

Jammu (Rural) Police has urged all vehicle owners to adhere to legal requirements and ensure timely completion of ownership transfer procedures to avoid legal action.
