SRINAGAR: Several legislators, including MLA Pampore Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi, MLA Karnah Javid Ahmad Mirchal, and MLA Rajouri Iftikhar Ahmed, met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the Raabita Public Outreach Office today.
The MLAs highlighted pressing developmental issues in their constituencies, as well as challenges arising from recent floods in the region. They raised concerns related to infrastructure, basic civic amenities, road connectivity, and health services, and called for accelerated implementation of development projects, particularly in remote and flood-affected areas, to improve the quality of life for local residents.
The legislators also shared details of the hardships faced by people due to the floods, including losses to crops and homes, while appreciating the government’s swift rehabilitation and restoration efforts.



Acknowledging these concerns, the Chief Minister assured that the government remains committed to addressing both developmental needs and disaster-related challenges with urgency. He emphasized fast-tracking development projects and adopting proactive measures to mitigate future flood risks.
The Chief Minister also urged the MLAs to collaborate toward the holistic development of their constituencies and the overall progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
