Mumbai: The third track from The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, titled ‘Tenu Ki Pata’, has been released, featuring an unexpected musical collaboration between Diljit Dosanjh and director Aryan Khan.

Following the song’s launch, Aryan’s father, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, shared a heartfelt message for Diljit, expressing his gratitude and affection for the singer.

“A heartfelt thanks and big jhappi to Diljit paaji… you are too kind and sweet. Hope Aryan didn’t trouble you too much. Love u,” Shah Rukh wrote in the post.

He also shared a behind-the-scenes video from the recording studio, capturing Aryan, Diljit, and the team in candid moments. From recording sessions to brainstorming, the clip highlights the playful chemistry between Aryan and Diljit. At one point, the duo even chats with Shah Rukh over the phone, with the actor teasing the singer.

The video ends with a surprised Diljit marveling at Aryan’s singing skills, exclaiming, “No way! Aapne gaaya hai?” (Did you sing this?).

Diljit also praised Aryan on Instagram: “Aryan Baut Hee Kamaal Ka Singer Hai.. Agar Music Mein Aa Geya Na Toh Bata Raha Hu… BACHO” (Aryan is an amazing singer. I’m telling you, if he enters music… watch out!).

‘Tenu Ki Pata’ marks Aryan Khan’s singing debut and features vocals by Diljit Dosanjh and Ujwal Gupta. Picturised around Manoj Pahwa’s character in Aryan’s stylised universe, the energetic track combines bold beats, infectious rhythms, and an edgy vibe, reflecting the chaos and ambition at the heart of the narrative.

Singer Badshah also makes a cameo in the video, clashing with Pahwa. The song is composed, arranged, and produced by Ujwal Gupta, with lyrics by Kumaar. While the first two singles, ‘Badli Si Hawa Hai’ and ‘Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri’, set the tone, this third track fuses Dosanjh’s Punjabi essence with contemporary production.

The trailer for the series, recently released, offers a glimpse into Bollywood’s raw and vibrant world. Written and directed by Aryan Khan, The Ba**ds of Bollywood* will premiere on Netflix on September 18.
