The Bigg Boss franchise, inspired by the Dutch format Big Brother, first aired on November 3, 2006, and has since completed 18 seasons along with three OTT editions. Over the years, the show has been hosted by several Bollywood stars including Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Farah Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Salman Khan. The 18th season was won by Karanveer Mehra.
