Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shirodkar marked Children’s Day with a heartfelt wish for her daughter, Anoushka Ranjit, calling her “the girl who keeps my inner child alive.”
Sharing two adorable throwback photos with Anoushka, the Gopi Kishan actress wrote, “To the girl who keeps my inner child alive always, my Nushki! You’re the reason my heart smiles every single day. Always be you and shine brighter! Love you loads! #HappyChildrensDay @anoushkaranjit.”
The first picture featured the mother-daughter duo smiling warmly at the camera. In the second photo, they were joined by Shilpa’s husband, Aparesh Ranjit, who celebrated his birthday on November 9.
To mark his special day, the Jatadhara actress also shared a series of romantic pictures with Aparesh on social media.
“Happy Birthday to my anchor, my husband, my forever and ever after @apareshranjit!” she wrote. “Even though we’re not together on your birthday today, please know that you are right here in my heart, in every smile and at my very best… Even if we are miles apart, you handle it with such patience, strength and so much love.”
Admitting that her husband is not fond of celebrating his birthday, she added, “I know today isn’t how we’d prefer to celebrate, but just know that it means our reunion will be even sweeter. I’m already counting down the days until I can celebrate you with a tight hug that lasts far too long!”
Calling him her “rock,” Shilpa expressed deep admiration, saying, “You are my rock, my greatest motivation. I hope you feel all the warmth and love I’m sending your way. I love you so, so much and can’t wait to see you! Come back soon, Aps! Happy Birthday! Lots of hugs and kisses!”
