Jammu: In a heartening display of civil-military synergy, the Soldiers Independent Rehabilitation Foundation (SIRF), a Pune-based NGO, donated a fully equipped Maruti Suzuki Eeco Ambulance to the Tiger Division in Jammu. The handing over ceremony was held at the Tiger Division Headquarters, where General Officer Commanding, Tiger Division, received the ambulance from Mrs. Sumedha Yogesh Chitade, President of SIRF.

The donation reflects not only SIRF’s commitment to the welfare of India’s soldiers, but also the enduring bond between the armed forces and the civilian population. The well-equipped ambulance will significantly strengthen the Division’s medical response capabilities, and support critical care and evacuation needs in operational areas.

The event beautifully captured the essence of the Indian Army – a force that draws its true strength and spirit from the citizens it serves. This gesture by SIRF stands as a shining example of how collective goodwill and cooperation can contribute to national resilience and readiness.
