Sona Comstar teams up with Germany’s NEURA Robotics to jointly develop robots and humanoids

MUMBAI: Auto components maker Sona Comstar on Friday said it has signed an initial agreement with Germany-based NEURA Robotics GmbH to jointly develop advanced technologies and industrialise robots and humanoids in India and globally.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines shared goals between the two companies, Sona Comstar said in a statement.

“By combining Sona Comstar’s engineering and manufacturing strengths with NEURA’s cutting-edge cognitive robotics technologies, we are well-positioned to deliver world-class solutions for global markets,” said Vivek Vikram Singh, Managing Director and Group CEO of Sona Comstar.

The company said the world is entering a new era of intelligent automation, with rapid advances in industrial and humanoid robotics reshaping manufacturing and logistics industries worldwide.

Founded in 2019, NEURA Robotics focuses on addressing innovation gaps and driving the development of cognitive robotics globally.
