Mumbai: Ever since actor Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal, rumours about her pregnancy have surfaced time and again — and each time, the actress has firmly dismissed them. The latest round of speculation began after her appearance at a Diwali party, to which Sonakshi responded with her trademark wit.
Taking to Instagram, Sonakshi shared a series of pictures flaunting her festive look from the celebration. But it was her hilarious caption that stole the spotlight.
“World record holder for longest pregnancy in human history (16 months and counting according to our lovely and hyper-intelligent media) — simply for posing with hand around midsection. Scroll to last slide for our reaction… and then continue to dazzle this Diwali,” she wrote.
Sonakshi and Zaheer exchanged vows on June 23 last year in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence, attended by close friends and family.
On the work front, Sonakshi is gearing up for her next release, the highly anticipated Telugu film Jatadhara, set to hit theatres on November 7. The makers had earlier announced that the film will release in both Hindi and Telugu, unveiling a striking motion poster that has only amplified fans’ excitement.
