Abdul Rahim Rather reviews arrangements for annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA)
BUDGAM: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, today chaired a high-level meeting at Town Hall, Charar-i-Sharief, to review preparations for the forthcoming annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) at the revered Charar-i-Sharief Shrine.
During the meeting, the Speaker directed officials to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience during the Urs celebrations. He emphasized the importance of making foolproof arrangements for essential services, including transportation, clean drinking water, uninterrupted electricity, availability of essential commodities, and adequate security.
Rather called for close coordination among all concerned departments to ensure a peaceful and spiritually enriching environment for the devotees, enabling them to participate in the Urs with devotion and reverence.
The meeting was attended by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chadoora, along with other district and sectoral officers.
