Special Lecture on World Water Day Conducted at Solki Rajouri

Rajouri: The Indian Army organised a special lecture on World Water Day to raise awareness about water conservation and sustainable management of water resources. The event, held at Government Higher Secondary School, Solki was attended by 05 teachers and 45 students.

The session emphasised the importance of water in daily life, the challenges of water scarcity and effective conservation strategies. The practical measures to promote water sustainability, including rainwater harvesting, responsible consumption and innovative water management techniques were discussed during the lecture.

The lecture also focused on the global water crisis and India’s initiatives toward water security. Attendees were encouraged to adopt eco-friendly practices and contribute to preserving this vital resource for future generations. The Indian Army remains committed to environmental stewardship and continues to engage in initiatives that promote sustainability and awareness. The awareness lecture was conducted as part of Indian Army’s initiative to educate society on environmental health, its importance and the conservation methods.
