Jammu, Nov 24: Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Monday emphasised that spiritual shrines are the nerve centres of society, serving as powerful hubs of faith, unity and cultural continuity. She said these sacred spaces not only offer spiritual solace but also inspire people to uphold values of peace, compassion and collective responsibility.
Highlighting the deep-rooted cultural significance of shrines, she noted that they connect communities across regions and generations, strengthening social bonds and promoting harmony. She added that these places of worship play an essential role in shaping a morally conscious and emotionally resilient society.
Dr Andrabi further underscored the need to preserve and promote spiritual heritage, asserting that shrines are more than religious symbols—they are centres of learning, reflection and service that guide individuals towards a balanced and purposeful life.
