Ramban: A Special Police Officer (SPO) tragically died early Saturday morning after accidentally falling into a steep nalla near his duty post in Luroo, Ramsoo, Ramban district.
According to sources, the incident took place when the officer, identified as Snatter Singh, a resident of Luroo, slipped and fell into the stream while stationed at the Police Picket Luroo. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body was later recovered and handed over to his family.
The police expressed their condolences, describing the officer’s death as a tragic accident that occurred while he was performing his duties.
