Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday relieved Ms. P.D. Nitya, IPS (AGMUT:2016), from her post as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama to facilitate her joining the Rajasthan Cadre following her approved inter-cadre transfer.
According to an official order issued by the Home Department of J&K on the directions of the Lieutenant Governor and in pursuance of a communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Ms. Nitya has been relieved from the Union Territory with effect from October 8, 2025 (A/N).
The order states that Ms. P.D. Nitya, IPS, will join the Rajasthan Cadre on account of her inter-cadre transfer.
