JAMMU: The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu, today organised a special programme at Government College for Women, Parade, to celebrate Sewa Parv 2025.
As part of the event, artists from DIPR’s Cultural Unit staged a street play (Nukkad Natak) that underscored the values of selfless service and community welfare. The performance highlighted Sewa as a guiding principle for building a compassionate and progressive society, while also spreading awareness about various youth-centric government schemes.
A large number of students and faculty members attended the programme and lauded the artists for effectively delivering the message of Sewa Parv. The play left the audience inspired to embrace the spirit of selfless service in their personal and professional lives.
Reiterating its mission, the Department of Information and Public Relations emphasized its continued commitment to leveraging art and culture as powerful mediums for mass awareness and for fostering positive social values through community outreach initiatives.
